a love story, "divided by glass"

my friend Cay, her dog Cleo (shown below) & the boys and I passed Cafe Cluny the other day in the west village. there was a baby in the window and the following love story unfolded (and, as so often happens, ended in tears)....

TRICK: Just be darling about it

someone (rhymes with "muster") thought if they were darling about it,
i'd overlook the couch infraction.
they were right.
